In love with her human and biological diversity, we decided we would like to relocate to Belize from Baltimore, Maryland.
We then began to look for a small piece of paradise and found this 50 acres in the most beautiful Cayo district of Belize.
We then began to study the property for the next 10 years, trying to figure out exactly what we wanted to do with it, we decided to make it into a small nature reserve and bird sanctuary.
Still wanting to remain productive, we opted to open our lodge amidst this magnificent jungle setting. After nearly four years of hard work we have accomplished our goal and are ready to share this wonderful place with others.
We are confident that others, who have a true appreciation for nature, will enjoy with awe, this peaceful and tranquil environment as much as we have.
